Gasoline is primarily used as fuel for internal combustion engines in cars, trucks, and planes, but its derivatives are essential for making plastics, synthetic fabrics, lubricants, waxes, asphalt for roads, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, fertilizers, and even components in medical devices.
